Our Mission:
Military life takes families from their loved ones, often
to places where they do not know anyone. Most of the time, they
won't have any family or friends close by that they can lean on
for love and support. Here at CLC we have made it our mission to
become that support system for every military family the Lord
sends to us.
The duty of a soldier often requires lengthy deployments
either overseas or away for training. These deployments are a
significant burden for every military family. During these
difficult times, spouses in the area are burdened with managing
their household, finances, children, and everyday life. Deployed
soldiers overseas must not only manage a difficult and dangerous
warzone, but also maintain their family integrity back home.
At CLC we are taking an active part in supporting our
military families. We especially want every soldier to know
their family will be taken care of while they are gone. Our
goal, through the Deployment Ministry, is to help carry the
burden of our military members and enable these families to
remain strong both emotionally and spiritually.
Through a strong core of volunteers both military and
civilian, CLC is able to offer our deployed families numerous
support services:
